I first thought of how I could of told him how much I really wanted to be with him and how I wish he could have a little bit longer so I could tell him and show him... but I stopped. I thought maybe he realized all the joy he brought to my life and he was happy with that.

Russell understood every part of this quote. This is a test for all of us. If he would of known he was dying he would of taken it so lightly. Maybe we did all we had to do. We need to stop thinking about the things we should of done and the things we should of said and start thinking about what we did do and say. Maybe this was all good enough for him and he completed everything he felt he needed to do and we are just stuck now finishing what we need to do without him.
