I got up late this morning and came down to find mother missing from her usual chair. She had got herself and her walker outside and she was sitting on the patio with her feet up on the walker......all very relaxed!

So having made tea and coffee we are sat together outside in the sun and it's very pleasant. It feels like summer might have finally arrived - but I won.t be holding my breath too much just yet. It's always nice annd peaceful here in Warwick with only the distant rumble from the M44p as a reminder of the busy world outside. Today however the peace is shattered by the sound of electric lawnlowers, petrol hedgetrimmers and other garden power machinery

just as intrusive but far more welcome and infinitely more interesting are the historic aircraft passing regularly overhead. . So far there have been at l east five different ones including two bi-planes. They come from nearby Wellesbourne Airport and add to the calm of the garden in a strange way.

summer, warwick
