Thurday we got mother's doctor out to her. The doctor was undecided whether to send her into hospital or not but did so in order to establish whether the problem was water retention or worsening ashema. It's a really good thing that mother was admitted because her energy was so low, her heart was in a bad state - in fact the doctor treating her was very worried about her condition. So Melissa and I spent a very worried day with her and she was eventually trandferred onto a ward.
Over the last couple of days mother has improved significantly and is no longer on oxygen. Although one of her blood tests came back with a problem and therefore she has been for a scan today. I'm not quite sure what the problem is or what exactl the scan is for. Right now I'm just relieved that she is improving.
