Last night we went out to the Frog and Bucket comedy club. It is somewhere that we have talked about going to for quite a while and never got around to doing. Then some weeks ago teenagedethgrrl saw tickets for one of her favourite comedians so booked tickets. I had no idea what to expect but to cut a long story short, we had a good night without it being too expensive. Not somewhere I would want to go every week but last night was enjoyable.
We got in and I was really excited about the week ahead. It has been some time since I last looked forwards to starting work on Monday morning but I feel really motivated by Shoples at the moment thanks mostly to Business North West last week.
Today started with taking milliedog to be groomed. This stopped me spending time gaining and retaining customers as I now make sure that I do everyday. But I did spend half an hour getting the books upto date and completing a few other admin tasks. We have also sat down and sorted out a few more craft fairs which is the other task that I am wanting to get done everyday. So this evening I have set aside an hour to really progress the customer database ahead of starting to send out regular email reminders about the Shoples product range.
Additionally today is unbelieveably the 10th birthday of Wayfinder. I have been working on a facelift for the site for a few days and today I took it live. Another thing to write an email for that needs sending round all the users. Perhaps I will get that done or it might have to wait until tomorrow - but only after the hour of gaining and retaining customers.
