(no subject)
I had quite a lay in this morning which wasn't all that surprising as I was really, really tired before I went to bed and then couldn't get to sleep partly because I was quite cold in bed. I put with the lack of temperature for quite a while before deciding to get up and find a second duvet! Not long sfter I woke up I got a text off Ian asking if I was in as he wanted to call round so I said yes and started to get up but almost immediately he sent another text saying he was off the bus! I rushed to get ready and got downstairs about the same time as he arrived.
Ian stayed most of the day which isn't what I needed but at least he made the positive suggestion that we go across to Levenshulme and move some more stuff across which we did. This included two plants fro the back garden which I'm glad we moved before the rain started this evening. It was lovely here this afternoon and we sat outside on The Triangle drinking coffee and chatting about what had been done here with the community - the good and the bad aspects of it and I came inside quite missing Levenshulme.
So this evening I have put flossdog and milliedog in the car and come back to Levenshulme. It was an idea anyway as I wanted to watch Making History :: The Rise and Fall of Hitler on National Geographic and Virgin gets disconnected toorrow I think. Having watched the programme I'm itching to get back to Longsight as it doesn't feel like hone here anymore. But it's raining so I won't move the dogs again tonight, we'll stay here tonight and move the last of the stuff over tomorrow. I have left the main hifi here so far as that will be the last thing to be moved and I think tomorrow is the day for that to happen.
So tonight will be the last time I sleep here in Levenshulme. Although I won't be hanging around here too long in the morning as there is no food left here for breakfast - just tea and coffee. Now to pack the last of the little things up so I'm ready in the morning and to download a couple of things onto the laptops while I have broadband to save using lots of bandwidth from my mobile allowance.
