(no subject)
Perhaps if I wrote an LJ client for my mobile phone then I would read LJ more and update more! It is always my intention to update at least daily but somehow it just doesn't happen :-( For some strange reason I manage to update Facebook nearly everyday, mostly several times each day, but always leave LJ neglected.
But it isn't just about the tool I use to update - I'm posting this from my mobile even though I have a laptop in arm's reach. I also regularly wait to do a Facebook update until I'm at a laptop as I can't add links to other people with the client on my phone. Perhaps it is the feeling that I have to write more here and that is somehow onerrous. But the reality is that whilst I do write more it is not difficult, I just start and it happens... I suppose the other thing is that LJ for me is more about documenting stuff whereas Facebook is about hrow away comments that are seldom, if ever, referred back to. I need to get this idea out of my head that past events need to be posted first and in order and just post what matters now!
So really I just need to push myself to get on and update more - but I knew that anyway.....
