Gibson
Today I have driven down to see tabatha_yeddap - three reasons......I have an Occupational Health appointment tomorrow, we had to collect Dottz from the garage, and gibson_boy is a very poorly old man and we had to make a decision about taking him to the vet for the last time.
Earlier today, after collecting Dottz, we talked about gibson_boy and I really could not see that he was significantly worse than when I last saw him a couple of weeks ago. He is definately a very ill dog but I am far from convinced that his time is up just yet. Sam was so convinced that his time was up today that she rang the vet for an appointment - fortunately they could not fit him in until the morning so he had a small reptrieve.
Tonight he has been quiet, sometimes vacant and occasionally stumbly. But he has eaten two small meals of turkey and rice and, more importantly, he has not thrown his food up again. I have put a big towel on the bottom of my bed and brought him up to bed with me along with Ben who also seems very quiet. So I have the two troublesome boy doggies with me tonight!!!
Hopefully they will both have a good night and we can cancel the vet's appointment for tomorrow morning. They both look so content laying on the bed - I've taken a couple of pictures of them on the bed but don't have the cable here to transfer them to my laptop so I can't post them right now......I'll try and make sure I do it before too long!
