Yesterday we had a little excitement......
While mother's hairdresser was here the 'phone rang and it was the lady across the road telling us that a big part of the tree outside our house had blown down in the wind. I went and looked and two huge branches had come down only just missing the cars! They were completely blocking the footpath and still resting against the tree's main trunk.
So I thought we better move them to a safer and less inconvienient position - like the grass verge. Fortunately we always carry a towing strap in Dottz and this was coupled to the large branches one at a time and Dottz dragged them to a better location.......Dottz to the rescue :-)
I am quite surprised that tabatha_yeddap didn't video this and post it to YouTube - but then again I didn't tell her that I wanted her to do so......I think I might get a cheap digital video camera so I can post some video blogging.
