im in a good mood today - feeling very independant and not - erm - dependant? lol
i had my first experience with public transport yesterdee and i had fun.
most of yas know the story with my parents and 'the rules' and for those of you who dont i wont bore you with it lol but for the first time yesterdee i got on a bus and went to the plaza by myself, and i came home in a taxi BY MYSELF. probably sounds like nothin to u guys but ahh i feel so much better lol. and the bus only cost me $2.70 n the driver was loverly. the bus was full of old ladys and the driver knows them all by name so they must b regulars, im just so wrapped that i got out alone without feeling like im breaking rules or upsetting someone, i cant even remember what i bought lol.
i do however remember what i bought today - jess came and showed me a belly ring she bought and i loooooved it so i went and bought one the same but a different colour - she doesn't care, n i love it lol. its a yellow green and blue gecko, so it looks like i have a real gecko climbing up my belly hehe, im starting to make myself a little gecko collection now. this is my 2nd gecko belly ring, n i have a gecko braclet and ring as well. shall keep my eye out for more gecko things - i luv the lil critters.
mum and dad showed me their new little puppy 'jessie' today as well - goregous lil thing it is i lurve it. its a kelpie cross just like their other dog. when i went around to see it today it was curled up asleep in the lap of this statue cat mum has - was so cutttttteee, but its a puppy so it'd b cute no matter what it was doing i suppose.
alsoooo i bought more stuff to make rocky road. i made a small batch the other day and it was YUM but not perfect, so i bought double the amount this time hehehe, and im going to make a bigger batch and give some to my family for christmas because i know they LOVE it and my reciepe has an added MMMM factor lol. i am going to try mixing white chocolate and milk chocolate together to make it taste creamier, but i hope it doesnt make it an awful colour lol.
