Ben asked me to marry him yesterday at the Waterfront Park.  He totally caught me off guard.

We are now officially ENGAGED!!!   Mr. and Mrs. Ben Wakild  (way-killed)....   Jaime Renae Wakild....humm that has a nice little ring to it.

The ring is so beautiful.  White gold, 3 stone, emerald cut diamonds.  Total weight is 1.5 carrots.

Congratulations! So do you guys have any plans on when the wedding day is going to be? I've read your past entries about you going through a difficult time. Jus think that a few months from now you'll be thinking about it and laughing :)

Thank you for your response. It made me smile. In fact I just received an e-mail from my dad saying that he looks forward in drinking many beers with his future son-in-law in this joyous celebration. That makes me feel much better. Now I'm wondering if this means he's coming to the States to walk me down the aisle. That would be so GREAT!!!
