(no subject)
i am pissed. i just wrote a huge entry and then lost all of my text. what the crap!! ugh, i don't want to have to say that all over again!!
short story: ben and i are moving to terre haute indiana because he was promoted to assistant manager through oak express. we are truly excited. the problem we face is the rushed time. we only found out about the possibility of a move this week. now we are expected to be in indiana by next friday because ben starts his new job that saturday (october 23). so i had to tell my work that this thursday (tomorrow) will have to be my last day in the office until we find a hotel to stay in (with internet access) or until we get an apartment and i'm able to set up my office. my work has been totally cool. they're letting me keep my position and work from home. this is so great!! we have to be at the new store this weekend. friday is the ONLY day ben and i have to look for an apartment together. while he is working this saturday and sunday, i will continue the search. we will come back to louisville monday morning and start packing, then load up and head back up to indiana to start out new life.
we have a new puppy. we picked abby up at the humane society when she was eight weeks old. she is now eleven weeks old and is able to climb up on the couch, reach stuff on our coffee cable, and pull things off our counters. she is driving me nuts. our 10 year old dog is so patient with abby it's unbelievable. she lets abby bit on her, jump on her, and pull her tail. dusty has never allowed another dog to touch her. abby is a yellow lab/ golden retriever mix; dusty is a yellow lab/ dachshund mix. i love our little family.
i just wanted to give everyone an update on our current events. i'll have a lot more to talk about later
