Everyday Bread
via make the bread, buy the butter
veg oil, for greasing
1 teas instant yeast
3.5 cups whey or water, room temp
5.5 cups AP flour
1.75 cups whole wheat flour
0.33 cups flaxseeds (optional)
4 teas kosher salt
1. oil inside of two 9x5 metal loaf pans
2. in a large bowl mix yeast, liquid, flours, seeds, and salt. scrape dough into pans. drape with clean damp dish towel and rise for about 2 hours until level with tops of pans.
3. preheat over to 450F
4. bake loaves 30 min
5. remove bread from pans and bake directly on racks for another 15 minutes.
