Introduction

This journal is dedicated to living a frugal, gluten free life. All the recipes are original creations by me and/or Mr. Frugal, unless noted otherwise.

One concern I've heard expressed by many people with Celiac Disease and Gluten Intolerances is how much their grocery bill increased once they gave up gluten. Another concern is in regards to how there's not enough variety. This concern mostly comes from people who are new to a gluten free lifestyle.

This doesn't have to happen!

Let me say this now. There are endless gluten free food possibilities. You don't only have to eat salads! (Yes, one person was doing this because they did not realize how many possibilities there are.)

Remember, most foods are naturally gluten free! Most recipes are too! And I do mean normal recipes that you find in regular cookbooks. There are also many recipes that have ingredients that can be replaced with safe ones.

Once you start thinking in terms of possibilities (and not in limitations), you will discover that you have plenty to eat. You may even start trying out new types of foods. Best of all, you won't have to sell your first born child to do so.

If nothing else, being able to eat a meal without getting sick is a huge motivator.

Follow the tags on the left of the page or check out the Memories section of my user profile to see listings of the different recipes, company "safe lists", and more separated into categories.

Also, take a gander at the websites I have linked (also located on the left of this page). I will be adding to the list as I go along.

Hope you enjoy.
