I'm thinking about my days
Things I done right
The wrong of my ways
Gone down on my knees
Genuflected and prayed
That I might learn
From mistakes that I've made

We take the bus
We take the train
We go by car
We go by plane
We're riding overnight
Going god knows where
God knows what we'll find
God knows when we'll get there

Staring out the window
And I'm thinking about my life
Thinking about my future
Like where I'll be when I meet my wife
And when I die
Will it be by old age or by knife
Will it be peaceful
Or will it be by hardship and strife

But I'm bringing my camera
And I will photograph
Every building
On every street
Every meal
At every rest stop
Each and every single person we meet
