Disappointed

fredeburg and Das Karl were turned away today at the gym building at CalU because the owner will not allow anyone under 16 in the building. Therefore, we drove home instead of going to Silva Vulcani practice.

This just doesn't sound right. What about prospective students? High school students are often under 18, does that mean if a 17 year old is touring the campus they don't get to see the gym? Even college students are occasionally 17 at the start of their freshman year (I found this out on a date once in college). Not to mention children of faculty and staff.

I am sorry. We will have to move practice to Gallagher earlier. These people make me want to spaz and say mean things.

I asked him about what Donsweetums so wisely pointed out. Also pointed out that it had never been a problem in the past, and is not a problem in the other facilities on campus, but he was like, "I'm sorry, it's a liability/insurance issue," and would not move on the subject.

We got away with it, so to speak, for the musters because we don't use the monitored front doors, guess.

And you aren't wrong...it is owner by the college. I used owner cause the guy at the front desk did...but the student at the front desk was...something.
