Karls Gone Wild
Karl discovered (or, rather, I'm sure he revealed that he now knows) how to open the dish cupboards in the dining room. He was digging around in there while I was outside filling the bird feeders (I could see him through the sliding glass door in the living room) and as soon as I slid the door open, he jumped and quickly closed the cupboard doors. Then a minute later, he came into the living room with some parsnips, which means he has learned how to open the fridge. A few minutes after I put those back he came over to me eating turkey pepperoni. Unfortunately, he was also chewing on the silica gel pack (nontoxic desiccant) and it got all over his shirt, so I had to deal with that.
heike says that we now need to teach him how to properly close the fridge. Considering that I've left it cracked open at least 4 times in the last few months, I need the same lesson.
Hey, look, he just brought me the holiday cookie tin from the cupboard.
