I've had a secret the last few weeks. I started watching Rescue Me on Hulu.com. I've become a fan of Denis Leary because of it, and because of his work to benefit people/families who are there for us when we need them.
A couple of my favorite episodes of Color Splash are:
1) Where David does a Star Wars room for a boy who has a disease where his muscles turn to bone if he's injured. Everything for the make over was donated & Lucasfilm even sent official Star Wars Merchandise. I've seen this one at least 3 times & get teary eyed at the end every time. (LOL.. not because it's Star Wars - because of the donations). I probably shouldn't admit that Color Splash made me teary eyed.
2) There's another where he does an outdoor break room for a firehouse. I've only seen this one once vs the star wars one several times so I don't remember particulars about donations or anything. But the area looked 1,000 times better when they were done.
(If you hadn't guessed) Color Splash is a decorating show on hgtv, but it's the coolest one I've seen. I've been catching reruns at 3:30 on weekdays. I typically don't like decorating shows but my mom does so that's how I got hooked. It also might be fun to watch since you just got a new house too. :)
And speaking of the new house.. when do we get to see pictures of the nursery? I remember Karen's journal saying something about artwork (or a mural) on a door.
