NHL First Round Playoff Matchups
Finally, the first round matchups are set. The 'Canes get the Devils. Tough match, but I think the 'Canes can handle it.
Big news of 1st round: Pens v Flyers! Ha. Go Pens. And go Rangers, beat those Crapitals.
The 'Canes and the Pens would only face each other in the Eastern Division Finals. Both teams would need to make it through some hard brackets. I think the Pens have a better shot at making the Eastern finals, but I'm hoping Carolina does as well.
I'd like to see a Chicago/Carolina final, but only time will tell.
EDIT: Someone mentioned that the NHL reseeds every round to make highest-vs-lowest matchups. So, still, the 'Canes would only face the Pens in the Eeastern finals.
