OMG, shoe shopping! OMG, fighting!
So, in the same tradition (its tradition if you mention it, don't you know?) as unique_name_123, I went to Sears at the mall yesterday to get new work boots. OK, it has nothing to do with her mega-shopping experience, I just found her posts amusing. Alas, Sears was out of anything I would wear that isn't $80+. I'll have to poke around and find someplace non-mall to go look. Life goes on.
Squire brother Liam (as opposed to man-at-arms Liam) texted me yesterday, asking what time practice is today. Apparently he will actually show up there. Some people we both know are also showing up, having expressed interest in learning to fight rapier and rattan. Oh, wait, fighting rapier is not actually fighting, it is A&S. Remember? So, to rephrase... They have expressed interest in learning to properly use rapier in the SCA, and fighting rattan.
