'Canes v Pens

I want to watch the Hurricanes play the Penguins tomorrow night. Tickets at Mellon Arena start at $30, which is significantly more than tickets cost in Raleigh. The RBC Center has ok seats (ignoring the sucky $10 ones that are literally almost at the roof) for $21. $30 plus $4 for bus fare is enough that I most likely won't go. I bought tickets for tonights game for $18 through my workplace. They are in the upper level (300's) and near the middle of the ice. The tickets normally cost $25. They're decent seats since you are not fully in the rafters but can see most of the ice. My brother, his girlfriend Carolyn and 2 friends of ours are all going.

That seems really cheap. When I saw the coyotes and sharks play in the Glendale arena. Our tickets were 60 bucks, and those were attacking zone in the corner pretty close to the top of the lower level. It was such great fun though, even though we killed them. Then again, I had money on the game... coyotes and the over. With 10 minutes left it was 2-0 coyotes. Final score was 6-1. The over was 6. :)
