I'm in la ciudad más grande de los Estados Unidos. How fun. It actually's been a blast.
Spent the entire afternoon and night on the bus from Maine-Boston-New York. the last leg was on the Fung Wah Chinatown bus. The bus arrived to S. Station late, and then there was lots of traffic coming out of Boston. So we didn't arrive in NYC until after 11.
Today required a 7Am wakeup to get to Newark so Niki could visit Rutgers Law & Seton Hall law.
SH is so Catholic, it's special. They had pictures of all the popes chilling out, in the formation of a cross. All of this painted on golden paper. Truly special.
We came back to Manhattan, had some yummy pizza, played the part of a tourist - I ended up buying a pair of pants at UNIQLO. as luck would have it, we arrived on the opening day of their enormous flaghsip store. Andi mean it was big. Floor-to-ceeling shelves with thousands of cashmere sweaters. all sorts of different colors all fairly priced and decently made. So an H&M without the poor crastmanship. Great thign is, they hem pants (they don't sell pants in specific leg lenghts) and do the hemming for free. Great. the store was a madhouse, and there was no way I was expecting it to be done in an hour. So i gave them two, still expecting I'd have to come back tomorrow. But sure enough, the article was perfectly seamed. That's service.
Check out UNIQLO when you get a chance, youll find something you like. Guaranteed.
(how's that for a shameless plug?)
