Hi boys and girls,
I'm sitting here, waiting to hear from Bowdoin College about my fate for next year. The Readmission Committee is meeting at some point today, and will decide if they care to have me back at their prestigious institution.
Anyhow, I was working on some accounting - my final class before I'm done for the semester - and I decided to procrastinate a bit (as I frequently do) and browse the internet. I went to www.boingboing.net and came across a link discussing a remix album that takes Green Day's American Idiot and transforms it into a very neat mesh of different songs. Boulevard of Broken Dreams now has samples from Oasis' Wonderwall.

But this website might be a beter bet, as they are trying to get many people to download without killing one website's bandwidth.

It's a bit chilly in Miami today - it was in the low fifties this morning and it was just my luck that I had to drive the teenage sisters to school. I decided to take advantage of the early start and took my laptop (newly equipped with a new harddrive- an upgrade from 40 GB to 60 GB. I feel like a Mazda Miata owner who traded in for a Hummer H2... nevermind that even 60GB is a modest size)
Oh yeah, when I took the powerbook apart, the trackpad decided to stop working, so I now have a bluetooth mouse to go with it. It's a great treat to use an actual mouse with the laptop, I must say.
Time to get back to the accounting. cheers to one and all
