I have been sick a record amount of times this school term... and yet I have done nothing to really merit being sick. I must be licking the bad doorknobs or something. Fuck... I hate it.
I've had the flu, gastro, and a bout with a cold. Currently, the inside of my head feels like there are 8 angry midgets wrestling a chimp for money. For the first time in my life, I have been fainting due to vertigo. this really sucks as it is totally screwing me right up and making for a regular headcold (stuffy head with headaches and the sniffles) to turn into a true "fuck you".
Other news includes that I have not yet managed to kill any of the crabs, and anyone who's come by to see them thinks they are pretty fucking sweet. The elaborate displays make them a cool pet, though I have to clean their tank currently. They eat less than I thought, and the shrimp food mucks the tank's water quickly. One of the crabs, Senior Longclaw, has just molted, and is now devoid of most of his shell. The husk, an almost 100% intact shell, is now drying. So far, he seems ok, though reclusive in my tank. It is cool to watch. La Bamba (the largest) is still the one to watch as now he regularly puts on displays. When the water is murkier, the one side of the tank appears mirrored, and as he is the largest of the crabs, he does elaborate displays to himself, though I don't know if he knows this.
Zac, Matt and Jamie are all 9th level characters now. Ed and Ryan and just trailing at 8th. They are currently hip deep in the middle of a massive swamp, and their characters are not enjoying themselves. It has been 3 days in game for them, and with minimal dry land to rest on, they are hating life. Trench foot, gnats, blackflies, leeches, ruined rations and equipment filling with water. This, in addition to combat ( so far, a siren hydra) has made this trek hell for them... and they have to trudge on for 6 more days of it to reach the destination... a colony of razormouths. The character suffering the most is Ryan's human cleric who is grinning and bearing it while wearing his full plate. He knows should he go under he's fucked, but removing the armor has not been a good descision for him in the past, so he is risking a lot. Due to a level up in the swamp (than the hydra) there are now 2 characters with the Endurance feat (instead of 1), so the sleep/wake is not as bad as it was.
Ed hasn't been to the game in 2 games now. We don't know where Mr. Paddock is, but we hope he'll turn up as he was a good guy to have at the table.
OSAP should be coming soon, had some complications. Debating when I will get my 5th tattoo... the one Meg designed. Soon I hope. :)
