Quick Update: I'VE BEEN ROBBED
Ok so I thought I would write a quick journal entry to explain whats been going on...
Haha yea sorry the title is very exaggerated lol. No I haven't physically been robbed but a tragedy has befallen me. :( My laptop broke! Technically its not really MY laptop, its from the school I go to (long story no need for details). So one day I was searching for friends on LJ (as some of you may know :D) and then I lost internet, I tried fixing it like normal but since it was being a little jerk I had to turn it off. Next thing you know everytime I turn it on it just goes to the HP logo and then shows a gray screen.
I tried EVERYTHING possible to fix it. A bunch of forums online said to take the battery hold the power button yada yada yada I did that a million times and nothing happened. I tried Safe Mode and bunch of other start up option thingys. I even called my uncle who works with computer programing but he said there was nothing he could do. :( So worst comes to worst we call the tech support branch of my school and they tell me that its a hardware problem so they tell me to send in my current laptop so they can send me a new one.
ALL MY JE VIDEOS WERE ON THAT LAPTOP. So yea long story short I lost over a years worth of collected JE videos... *sigh* Since the laptop is the schools I was bound to return it one day but I was hoping before that I could buy the laptop from them or transfer all my stuff to my old cappy laptop (which is now bugged up because of my little brother's flash games that he plays on it).
So currently I am using my mom's super cool, high tech HP TouchSmart computer she got for Christmas from my dad. The touch screen is so cool!.. at first then eventually your arms get tired and you get annoyed from not touching the right links and then you just go back to using the mouse like any other regular computer. :P
I'm only supposed to be using this computer for school. *shhhhh* But since my dad is taking my mom to the doctor (nothing serious, I promise) I am alone for the first time in a while and I thought I would post an entry to update everyone, especially my new friends. :)
My new laptop is coming in today so I will be able to resume LJing once finals week is over. (I know right, my laptop totally chose the perfect time to flip out on me >:-| ) I promise the first thing I'm going to do is respond to the comments i've received on my other entries from my new friends! :D See you soon! :)
