Just got back from Anchorage, took 8 hours on a bus(bout 450 miles). Heading to my section sergeant's house tomorrow for food, then probably DnD the rest of the weekend if it works out. Heading back down on sunday and returning friday.
Had fun so far, first time out on a main road I tapped the brakes and felt the back end skid a bit.. This is an 8-wheel 20-ton vehicle that even had snow chains on, the roads up here are bad. Driving with the DVE is a bit of a challenge, it's a thermal viewer but the FoV is like 30 degrees.
