(no subject)
Well, i took H to the pool for the first time today. They have a mum and bubs time where it's just free time to chat and enjoy the water with bub. It's not a class per se but they show you all the safe ways to hold/play with baby and have some rudimentary toys available. H liked it.. although remembered after 25min that this was normally sleep time! What can you do eh? But for $3.00, i wasn't worried about just hopping out. Lots of fun!
Also looked into the trip to Canada. OI!! What a crazy amount of money. Because it's costing so much, I think we'll try to stop over in Tokyo and visit Woz's friend Hidi there. Maybe spend 4-5 days there. When i had the guy at the travel agent cost it out, it only works out to be about $800 more to go via there. So instead of just over $6000 in air fare, it would cost just under $7000. Mind boggling. But we might as well spend the money now, because we won't get to go anywhere else for quite awhile after this!!
My Papa also came through big time for us!! He's lending us his motorhome for the duration of our CDN trip! How cool!! So we can do all the camping we want, but in 5 star luxury! It will be awesome, especially with an 8 month old baby along!! I can't wait!
So it's all coming together...
On the home front,
I've arranged care for H on the tues i need to go to school. She's going to fam. daycare with a woman who's been doing it for 3 years now. Seems really good. She's just moved from New Zealand so she's just starting up again. This means H is her only kid on a Tues for now! Like having a nanny for $5 an hour. How cool. SHe will get more kids eventually, but for now she'll get to know H one on one. I'm glad to have found her.
Anyway, baby's sleeping, better rush around and do stuff. *sigh*
