Okay, so I said that me and Gossip Girl were probably done for a while, and we are, but I've had this sitting around forever so I thought I'd upload it and get it out of the way. Besides, my loathing of this ship in S3 has in no way tarnished my love of it in S1 (okay, a little bit, but still) and this is strictly a S1 mix, so it's all good.
So, despite the rather moody cover art, this mix is pretty light. One of the things that really bugged me about this ship in the later seasons was how doom and gloom they were, so I didn't want to reflect that so much in this. I mean, angst can be good, but not when it's as melodramatic as was for them. I tried to capture what they were in season one, which was slightly angsty, but also very fun and cute and hopeless and crazy and miserable and wonderful. So I kept it up-beat with the occasional downer. Anyway, it's nothing to take too seriously, just enjoy it and comment if you're taking! Thanks, loves.
