a soundtrack for the nocturnal and unhealthy

Dec 16, 2006 03:04

So two out of three exams are done. But the last one's on Monday, so even though I only got 5 hours of sleep (6am-11am) yesterday, I've decided to study Global Ownership and Domination of the Majors in the music industry.  What can I say, I'm a fan of the Young and the Media Institutions.

But oh look! Some random form of entertainment!

A Soundtrack for My Life
(Determined by putting my "sorta studying" playlist on shuffle)

Opening Credits:
Pilate - Hold the Line
There's a light on your face and a hope in the breeze
A knowing whisper in the trees
There's money to burn and books to read
Another lie to be believed

Waking Up:
Incubus - Earth to Bella, Pt. 1
Earth to Bella, everything you know is wrong...

First Day At School:
Our Lady Peace - The World On a String

Falling In Love:
Tegan & Sara - Welcome Home
He said, You only find love once in your life
So I guess when you find it
You gotta hold it right

Breaking Up:
Coldplay - God Put a Smile Upon Your Face
(Uhhh...)

Prom:
Rai - All in My Head
Be still my envy
I think it's so lovely
The way that you love her...
Oh why couldn't it be me

Life's OK:
Interpol - Obstacle 1

Breakdown:
Billy Talent - Try Honesty

Driving:
The Arcade Fire - Wake Up

Flashback:
Jack Johnson - Dreams Be Dreams

Getting Back Together:
Nelly Furtado - Well, Well
Well, well, what do I say
Looks like what goes around comes around

Wedding:
Postal Service - The District Sleeps Alone Tonight

Sex Scene:
Iron and Wine - Such Great Heights
And I have to speculate that God himself
Did make us into corresponding shapes like
Puzzle pieces from the clay

Birth of Child:
Incubus - Sick Sad Little World
(Ahhh, so inappropriate!)

Final Battle:
Modest Mouse - Ocean Breathes Salty

Death Scene:
The Arcade Fire - In the Back Seat

Funeral Song:
Coldplay - Amsterdam

Dance Sequence:
Coldplay - Don't Panic
We live in a beautiful world
Yeah we do, yeah we do

End Credits:
Modest Mouse - Float On
