Purple Haze

Found an interesting political map that breaks down the country differently than just the blue and red that we see on election night. The traditional blue and red map personally annoys me because not every one in the state votes just one way and that is not visually displayed. This map http://www.boingboing.net/images/Purple-USA.jpg has a red to blue scale that depends on how much of the state voted Republican or Democratic. And it is a lot prettier to look at.
