INDI 500
I'm currently watching the indi 500 and they are on lap 38 of 200. They gave enough info on the different drivers for me to give a shit about the race now. For example, there are two andretti family members driving including the 19 year old grandson of mario andretti. He is up to 4th I think. Then there is Danica Patrick, being the only female racer. Since she has the female version of my name, daniel patrick, I have to root for her as well. On the second lap there was an accident and two racers were out. I mean, to go to the indi 500, get a fast enough qualifying time to participate, have dreams of glory and to be out on lap two...ouch!
Steph is in town for her brothers graduation and she told me she will be busy with family. She calls me friday at 11:40pm and says to leave immediately and head over to applebees and then we all will go to hopkins bar. Sounds good, I told her that I needed to shower quick before I headed out. So she says to forget it, we can just do something saturday. I say I can just meet them at the bar and she responds with you wont get there till after midnight. SO I thought 'fuck it' and said 'fine, we can just do something tommorow'.
Needless to say I was peeved that I was an afterthought, she couldnt figure out to call me earlier (she had mentioned that they had waited a half hour at applebees for her friend aileen to leave to meet them there). So on saturday I decided that I was turning my phone off at 10pm and if steph couldnt figure out to give me more notcie then tough luck. Sure enough, she called sometime after 10. I have listened to her bitch about other people calling her late in the evening to try and make plans.
ANyways, thats my update and I hope all are well.
