40K
I've recently decided I want to get into warhammer 40K, I had dabbled with it briefly years ago when I bought a few space marines and painted them. I will likely be choosing the Necrons as my army though. The Necrons have some of the most powerful units in the game, can teleport, and when they die, except in a few circumstances, they can roll to repair themselves.
Can't afford to start collecting my forces though so I am forced to mentally figure out what to buy and what to paint them. I found out that the shop on lake street has rather busy friday nights where 40K gamers play. I imagine, barring unforseen events, that I will attend that this friday to get a more real feel for how the game actually plays.
