I just watched a preview version of Friday's Dollhouse episode - don't ask how, I'm not sure how the person got me a ticket to the Fox review site for the video and discussion, but it's not transferrable

Ack, thought the reply to this went through before, but it must've been when my computer randomly locked up. Sorry!

No clue who programmed Echo. I'd thought Alpha, myself, but rewatching the episode screwed up that theory. I agree it's unlikely to be Claire, but I'm not totally ruling it out.

Which leaves...who? Boyd, Adele, Topher - of these, Adele seems the most likely. Then there's Ivy, Topher's assistant, or Dominic the security guy - I think there's more to him than what we've seen, but I don't think he's the mole. Could be wrong.

Or, as I saw speculated on the Fox Dollhouse forum - might want to check it out, there's some intelligent speculation going on there - it could be Caroline, manipulating Echo subconsciously. But I'm sort of doubting that. There's a well-reasoned argument for it, though!

Of course, the whole thing could be a red herring to seriously get Ballard out of the picture. Which, honestly, is what I'm hoping for. It'd be fun if there Was an inside man at the Dollhouse, but they ignore it because they think it's just somethign they cooked up to mess with the FBI guy.

I love this show; it makes me think. A LOT.

Actually, my next guess after Claire would be Topher's assistant. The Asian girl? Seems like someone who'd have close enough access as well as the brain power to do it...

That's Ivy. And yeah, I agree - one of the things that no one seems to be considering is that the person would have to have the necessary Technical skills to do it. Which was why I'd assumed Alpha, originally.

Ivy would definitely have the ability. We just don't know enough about her to give her any motivation.
