I've grown quite fond of my Live Journal, chronicling my daily shenanigans, while showing me what a dull life I lead, has also just been generally fun.
Over the last two days I've been spending my evenings at what is now known as 'the Crack Den'. Jon has been wanting help with a few problems and spending time with him is made of goodness.
Tuesday night I headed over at seven and we all ending up watching Appleseed, which I did not dislike, but I wasn't that impressed with the action scenes and that was kinda what it was relying on... I was there with Kat that night and the lad in the shed Brad, was happy about this, he has taken quite a shine to her it seems. I also watched Bryan play that game in which I am a wizard with blue hair which entertained me greatly as all the characters are incredibly adorable - there's a penguin with a fanny pack! But said penguin pulls knives out of it when attacks.... But this adds to his cute somehow...
I have figured out who I am dressing as for Kassy's party and yesterday I hastily threw it together (and I mean I threw what I was going to wear into a pile, I have not enough skill to sew). I am going as Josie from the old comic Josie and the Pussycats and have found an old velvet cat-print shirt Nanna gave me years ago, that is just so perfect.
I asked dad if he'd come with me into Civic to search for cat ears and everyone except Josh ended up coming in. Once in there Mother and Chris complained about not having a reason to be there even though they already knew this and said they would come anyway. They ended up going and doing something in David Jones while Pa and I went on our quest for cat ears. We ended up finding some in The Funny Shop, I had forgotten the chap who does balloon-sculpture-stuff at the Folkie works there so I was all "It's you! Hello!" and surprisingly he remembered me- nobody ever seems to remember me so this was quite the event.
On arrival home I found that Jeff was over and Jon had briefly stepped out. I adore Jeff, he is filled with so much hilarity. I am not sure he likes me all that much but it does not matter.
I ended up going over to Jon's with those lads and spending the evening watching Absolute Power and playing Wii Sports. Rowan was over also so it was Jon, Jeff, Bryan, Rowan, Tomas, briefly Julian and myself.
After creating a Hitler Mii and using him to box, it was decided that they must go to the pub. By this time it was eleven so I was off home like the good kiddie I be.
Now I am sitting in my costume. I am really quite happy with it, I even put some eight-wash red in my hair so you can actually tell who I am meant to be.
