A couple small blurbs on games that I'm currently into
Baten Kaitos - 7/10
This game is pretty damned cool. The battle system is fresh and different. And it just plays well. Sometimes the cards get in the way especially when you have all defencive items in your hand and no way to discard. But other then that. It's pretty tops. The fact that it's designed and written by almost all of the Chrono Trigger/Cross staff is a + in my book. Anyone who has a Gamecube must check this game out.
Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time - 8/10
I've not played this as much as I'd like to in the past few days, But this game is awesome. The battle system is a blast and the stroy is quirky and funny. All and all it's a pretty cute RPG, Fun for all the DS owners out there who are clamoring for a new and different RPG. One word of caution. If you didn't like the first on GBA then you most probably won't like this one. It has new additions and the like, But the core gameplay is intact.
Wild ARMs 4 - 8/10
Wow. This game is face rocking fun. The new battle system is just what the franchise needed to save it from being stale sauce. Everything about this game just feels new, More dialog scenes because of not having to worry about making cutscenes for every little part. Only the important stuff. More action feeling with the new platforming elements, Even the battle system, While turnbased is still more then just that with the HEX system. It feels like they really fleshed out something new here. The only thing that I have to complain about is the Tool system. Instead of each memeber of your party having different tools, You pick them up, But you can't jump or slide with them. It seems a little tacked on and not as well thought out as the rest of the game. But on the whole.. A+

Other then that, Things have been going ok for me. My work is going good and everything. My family.... My grandma is sick, But she's recovering slowly. It's a good thing too. I have been worried to death about her. Spending alot of time over there, Seeing her while I know she'll be there. It's a labour of love.
Other then that, Nothing much else. Sorry for the sparce updates, Just had alot going on that hasn't been stuff I've wished to talk about.
Hopefully with the new year things will change.
