Part 6
"Dee. Dee. Dee." Noel muttered like a small child.
Sue was sitting on Dee's bed crying. There was doctors running around and police everywhere, but it was all just a blur to them. The sound of Rachael being interviewed by police was all that could be heard.
"Where were you when the alarm went off?"
"I was just along the corridor getting Miss Plume new bandages."
"Okay." the officer wrote something down in his notebook.
"What happened when the alarm went off."
"I ran put of the store room and bumped into Noel. He was shouting about fire."
"Right." noting more stuff down.
"What did you do then?."
"I told Noel I would be there as soon as I could and I went to see what the problem was and how we were going to gte the patients out."
"When did you find Dee missing?"
"Just shortly after that when Noel came back to me screaming about her bed being empty, so we looked in the bathroom and all over but no one had seen her."
"Ok. That will be all for now."
Noel and Sue sat at different sides of the room. There was so many thoughts racing through Noel's mind. He wanted to know what had happened. Had she run away? Did someone take her? Why did she go? Who wanted her? These thoughts were shared with Sue.
"S-s-sue?"
Sue sniffed "Y-yeah?"
"Why did she leave?"
"I-I-I don't know." Sue broke down.
Just then Julian walked into the room.
"Hey little man come here." Julian said while pulling Noel into a hug.
"Why did she go Ju? Why?" Noel was sobbing uncontrollably into Julians shirt.
"I don't know little man. But we will find out she will be ok."
Noel nodded trying to convince himself.
"Sue?" Julian walked over to where Sue was sitting.
"Hmm?" Sue wiped away the tears.
Julian pulled her into a hug and Sue couldn't hold her tears back. Noel came over and joined them and they all sat on the bed crying.
"Mr Fielding?"
"Wha? Yeah?"
"Can we talk to you now please?"
"Ermmm. Ok" Noel sniffed and wiped his eyes before heading out.
"Now what happened?"
"Me and Sue went out of the room to t-tell everyone that Dee had woken up and-d the fire alarm went of and I panicked and went to get Rachael but when we got back to Dee's room sh-e-e wasn't t-there. Noel choked on the last words.
"Yes."
Noel broke down and the officer let him away. Sue was next to be questioned and matched what Noel had said.
Dee was in a room. It was dark and smelled of damp. Dee let her eyes adjust to her surroundings, she was still dizzy from waking up and could feel the pain from her wound. Footsteps were approaching her from across the room.
"Well. If it isn't Miss Delia Gaitskell." The man laughed.
Dee had the gag taken off.
"You....." She was cut off by a hand grabbing her throat.
"Don't suppose you remember me from that night never mind all those years ago." He breathed down her neck.
"It seems that your little tranny of a boyfriend isn't to keen on my type."
Dee was twisting as much as she could but the man just laughed.
"Why don't you remember me?"
Dee began to recognize the voice.
"Think back......" The man told her.
