Hello.

I was reading Rolling Stone last night. ( It was magazine day, my own national holiday, you should invent one) I would LOVE to write for this magazine. I've wanted to do that since I was 15. Anyhoo, there was an article about The Killers in there. Mmmm...Brandon Flowers. I love a man in make up that can sing.  There is just something about the thought of a guy serenading me wearing eyeliner. I dunno. And considering I go to bed everynight listening to Hot Fuss and his wonderful voice, so needless to say, I love this guy.

Anyway, this was a great article.  It was Mark Binelli, whom, by the way, I adore his writing.  One of the reason's I read RS  He was following Brandon around before and after a show they were doing in New York.  Talking about him being from a tiny mormon town and how he was the only rock fan within it.  He used to get made fun of for listening to Elton John.  (no fair! I love Elton John)

Two of the best quotes by Brandon:

"The Beatles were the best, but they broke up after, like, six years.  U2. it's been the same four guys, and they've never put out a shitty album (teehee, told you I loved him!)  What other band can you say that about?  The Stones have put out some shitty albums."

"I saw Phantom of the Opera last time we were here.  So good.  Andrew Lloyd Webber could have written rock hits.  I want to be the Phantom! Maybe when I'm , like, thirty.  I can't do it now, I need to take voice lessons... (Whaa?!?!??!?!?)"

And The Killers make great music, at least I think so.  I loved music from the 80's and these guys are bringing back that sound.

And that ladies and gentlemen is why Brandon Flowers and his Killers rock my world!
