{OOC: I was out of town this weekend so I didn't get to post this on time. Happy Valentine's Day to everyone!}
[On the 14th, several gentlemen received carefully packaged red or pink drawstring pouches of handmade chocolate truffles (the cocoa-coated kind that melt in your mouth~), each with a silver paper snowflake and note tied to the top. Ukitake, Kira, Renji, Ikkaku, and Rose, as well as several of the male seated officers in the Fourth. Byakuya received a little pouch as well, but his contained a selection of herbal tea satchels and seaweed snack crackers.
The notes read:
Ukitake: Thank you for being a leader and a friend. I appreciate all of your hard work.
Kira: You're going to be the best captain that the Third has ever had. Make sure to get some sleep.
Renji: Make sure Hattori doesn't get his quills in these, I'm not sure if chocolate is good for plants.
Ikkaku: I hope everything's going well for you in the First Division. Stay healthy!
Rose: Thanks for keeping me company last Saturday. I had a nice afternoon.
Byakuya: I thought you might like to know that I spent last Saturday with a friend. Thank you.]
