Hon, that's just a mono-spaced font. It has nothing to do with HTML code. HTML doesn't recognize 2 spaces in a row when writing out text, only 1 space at a time so || is the same as | | (I used 2 spaces on the latter). You have to use a special ascii escape character, &nbsp; whenever you want to put 2 spaces in something (short for 'No Break SPace'). It takes a long time to do it by hand, so I didn't bother. ^^
