Alliances--- my clear interpretation.

If this was a perfect world and we lived with perfect, peace-breathing, happy individuals, no one would need to say they're friends or best friends or close friends with anyone. But newsflash, it's not.

Alliances- we all make them. Not that it's super-obvious and people just automatically go either black or white, but it's more complicated than that. There are shades of alliances, and the people who don't recognize these sadden me.

No matter which "alliance" (aka closer friendship) you go into, you better make sure that the people you are hurting are worth it. You better make sure that once it's said and done that you did the right thing. This is a place where I never make the first move. I always let the other people dictate... Why?

People are imperfect. They get angry or make you angry, but I NEVER do anything rash when we're in that situation, because if you do, you might break off some very valuable bonds. And that's where I am. I see people making very foolish decisions and breaking bonds that are some of the best they'll ever have.

Well, all I have to say is I hope what you do is worth it. I hope that when you decided to connect with someone more or place someone higher in your heart that it was all worth it, and the people you gave that privilege to respects and appreciates it just as much.

Because, like Brooke, I know who my best friends are. Yesterday, I watched an episode of season 5 on the CW and Lucas was like, "Brooke, can you talk to Lindsay and Peyton?" and Brooke answered, "Lucas, what's the point? Sure, I like Lindsay, but Peyton is my best friend." Brooke is a great friend, and I admire her for acknowledging where her loyalties lie- unlike Lucas (hence, they make fun of him and say, "why don't you ever stand up for the right girl- the one you're with") haha.

Whelp- ladies and gents, you have it.

Don't regret it.
