So, LJ is working with SeaMonkey again. YAY!

Reading through the support tickets, I was glad to see that it wasn't just me. It seemed to be a problem with Mozilla products...SeaMonkey, FireFox, and Camino.

The weird part was...I couldn't access it with SeaMonkey, but I could with FireFox.

But, it's fixed now...apparently.

Came home last night and decided to give the external hard drive one more go.

Yesterday, after the coffee was spilled into it and I had cleaned it as well as I could, I turned it on and everything was there. For about 2 minutes...and then it said that it needed to be formatted. So, I unplugged it and tried again...and it said it needed to be formatted.

I grumbled an obscenity and refused.

When I tried again later, it wouldn't recognize the hard drive at all.

I grumbled another obscenity and accepted the fact that I'd lost everything that was on the drive. :(

When I came home last night, I took a deep breath and plugged it back up.

After waiting a few minutes (and even saying 'yep...dead'), all of the sudden the computer recognized it.

Even better...everything was still on it.

Everything!

So, how bloody glad am I that I'm not the type to just reformat as soon as it tells me to??

It smells a bit like coffee...but it works.

That's the important thing. :)
