Why 12 March was so wonderful...

Okay, so you all know about Coldplay...which was already going to make 12 March a wonderful day.

However, something else happened on that day. That something else was having an offer accepted on a house!

I think we got extremely lucky...we'd only been looking for about a month or so...and this was only the second house we'd put an offer on. We put one on another house last Monday. Due to hysterical offers, the first house has now gone 30k over our original offer. We refused to go any higher than we'd already said as the house isn't worth what it's now listed at.

So on Wednesday we gracefully dropped out and put an offer on our second choice. On Thursday it was accepted. We paid our holding fee and signed the front page of the contract on Friday. The house now has an "Under Contract" sign on it. :D

Now it's picture time...and I'll put them behind a cut in case you don't want to see them :) All pictures were taken by El...and I'm extremely grateful to her for taking them for me!

I'll start off with pictures from one of my favourite Coldplay songs, "Fix You". The crowd really got into it...and at one point (which El got a picture of), Chris just looked up in wonder as the crowd sang his song.

In the above picture, Chris is telling us that "you've broken the record. I'm not sure what the record was, but I'm sure you broke it."

These are from "Yellow":

That dark circle in front of him? That's actually a yellow balloon filled with butterfly confetti. He popped one with his guitar when it came on stage...

These are just some oddly nice pics:

Butterfly confetti...

Okay this may look like a maple leaf or something, but it's not. It's this huge round screen...much like the big screens that they put next to the stage...only up at the ceiling...and spherical.

At one point, all four of them ran out into the crowd and sang a few songs...when they got set up, they were directly across from us.

And when they came out for the encore(s), he was wearing blue. :)

I have more, but I'm sure that's enough for now. *LOL*
