(no subject)
So I have a feeling that today I am completely and horribly out of work. The work I'm out of is completely horrible, however I do like to pay my rent. I am kicking myself for not working on tuesday when there was work to be... worked. I am not however, kicking myself for bailing on the fabric store. The whole thing just felt sort of not good.
I do have an interview on friday with a dude who really wants to recruit me for a bilingual position at a big company that even I have heard of. Also I got an email (en francais) for a bilingual retail position. Unfortunately I can't make the time she wanted to have an interview because I will bein Missisauga haveing an interview with the dude... so I suggested (en francais terrible) later in the day or on lundi.
Now a wrench has been thrown into my lackluster job search. I am having a problem with references.
Reference 1: is "out of the office" due to the fact that she is recuperating from some pretty invasive surgery. She is also staying at her parents house and is pretty doped up on pain killers.
Reference 2: is "out of the office" due to a strike. In fact she's actually locked out of the office. I guess that's called a lock-out. I'm going to have to call her this aft. and see if I can use her home phone number because... well frankly I'm not comfortable giving it out willy nilly.
This means I'm going to have to track down some reliable witnesses. I don't want to ask anyone at the big bad theatre factory but I may not have a choice. Although they are probably ot of the office as well due to the time of year. Maybe I can get someone in accounting/human resources to vouch for me.
In other news, I was excited to get this totally unsolicited

hmm did someone give them my email because although I've heard of this, I'm pretty positive I didn't subscribe. In other news, now I'm feeling like I can't spend any money due to my joblessness and of course I need to buy food for those stupid cats and a little food for me.... unless
I think I need a bigger pot.
