doctor who 3.12; about teletubies and drums

Jun 27, 2007 22:25

I should be revising English Lit right now but I'm leaving tomorrow and won't be back until Monday and I really wanted to post my Who thoughts. I wrote down some stuff during the rewatch so prepare for some incoherent thoughts with possible spelling mistakes. Sowwy.

• It's weird that Jack explained the "a Time Lord can regenerate"-thing to Martha. Or not, knowing The Doctor.

• What did Saxon do with all the people he killed with the gas?

• Sharon Osbourne!??!

• Jack made coffee! And called The Doctor 'sir'!!

• Team TARDIS in a car is the funniest thing. Watching it again knowing that the guy that likes to blow things up was in the back of the car, his ass facing John just made it funnier. (from the Confidential)

• Why did Saxon seem surprised when he heard The Doctor on the phone?

• That phone conevrsation is made of all kinds of win.

• Teletubies!!!!

• Yum, chips.

• Who was the guy with the red cape in Gallifrey? Is this from Old Who?

• Wait, I'm not sure I get it. Did all the Little Time Lords have a look at the Time Vortex or just The Master?

• The thing about loving someone when the other person doesn't have a clue? Yeah, so that's not what's happening to Martha. I don't believe The Doctor really doesn't know. I think he knows.

• You too, huh?! JACK LOOOOOOVES THE DOCTOR. Ahem, oh yessss, he doesssss! *can't stop grinning*

• The shot with the three of them running down the corridor with the bells-like sound of the TARDIS keys is my favourite.

• the US vs UK thing's not very subtile, is it?

• Huh. He canabalized the TARDIS? But - HUH?

• That's one fugly looking laser screwdriver. I'd take the sonic any day, thankyouverymuch.

• Jack dies once again.

• Oh noooo. Ugly Doctor once again. I hope we won't be stuck with him for too long.

• Lucy and Harold dancing to Voodoo Child might be the silliest scene I have ever seen on Who. My jaw literaly fell open.

• MURRAY GOLD, I LOVE YOU!! That's awesome music once again. You're a genius. The music at the end, when Martha's looking at her family and then goes back to earth made me shiver and made me cry just a little. You Genius!

• Why would Captain Jack ever want to go back to Torchwood when he can go anywhere with his newly repaired Space Hopper/Wristbandthing?

Have fun watching the finale on Saturday!!! I hear it'll be 10 minutes longer than a normal episodes. YAY!
