I liked last night's episode a lot. But I don't know if that's because it was actually a great episode or more of a YAY-The-Doctor-Is-BACK! DAVIDTENNANTOMG!!!
It was no Christmas Invasion, but how can you top that? I mean, it had The Doctor in PJs, Rose being awesome and brave, The Doctor quoting the Lion King, Harriet Jones, Jackie & Mickey etc. Good times!
• Poor, poor emo Doctor. *hugs*
• I'm sorry, here I go again: I missed Roooooose! My heart broke a little when there was no BILLIE PIPER in the credits.
• I'm glad they remembered to do the whole The Doctor misses Rose thing. Poor Doctor tearing up at the thought of her. *sobs* But I didn't really see the point of the flashback when he saw the woman dancing ... it would have been clear enough if he went all quiet and tear eyed. Or they should have more flashbacks if they inisted on having that one. AND surely they had a better flashback of them actually dancing!
• I really liked Donna, much to my surprise.
• I wish she had gone with The Doctor. They had to remind Ten that not everyone wants to live the life he lives, but still ... it was a different kind of Doctor/Companion relationship. And that's what we need right now, I think. What I want is more of the Doctor/Rose kind of relationship with their awesomeness, constant hugging and handporn. BUT only with Rose, not Martha. In the s3 promo Ten said she wasn't a replacement but I fear that's exactly what she's going to be.
• Okay, okay, so the Doctor really needs someone to go with him to keep him humane. I get it!
• The TARDIS was pretty awesome. Making it snow, chasing cars (though that chase was a bit long).
• Still Torchwood!
• Loved every Torchwood or old Who (the show) reference.
• I didn't care about the Baddie. I simply didn't give a damn.
• The trailer for season 3 didn't seem as great as last year's (though I'm going to watch of course) ... except Black Dalek!!!!

By the way, there's a Billie Piper movie on BBC One in about 15 minutes :D
