The (promised) pictures of the scarves I made (I made another one in the meantime)
1st. the scarve actually has stripes, dark and light green
2nd. this was made as a gift, I no longer have it.
3rd. this one's very colourful and kind of funky, don't you think?

Last weekend was fiiiine ... and some parts not so fine.
On Saturday I had a great time at my Youngest Aunt's birthday party: great food, talking with my cousins, ... 't was nice! And before we went home we also got a massive load of fabric and free clothes. My Aunt works at this factory where they make Lee jeans and they get all sorts of other Lee (and affiliated with Lee) stuff. I got two sweaters, three shirts and a jeans. And just the day before she got me (and my sister and mom) Kipling bags for 10 euros. I never even buy that much when I go shopping ... I can never find that much in one shoppng-trip. And I didn't have to go through a day at the mall, which always makes me so tired. YAY!
My cousin gave birth to a son. It's kind of a weird thought ... she's only a couple of months older than me. Anyway, we're not close at all, we haven't really talked for years ... but still, it's weird, she's a mom now.
One of my uncles got in an accident, he got stuck in a beet machine or something. He's got all sorts of injuries (head, leg, arm, shoulder). It could have been much worse - last year someone was actually killed in that machine (he got in even further down and was ... *gasp* ... cut into pieces or something. I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I'm probably grossing every one out.) My uncle had been in an even worse accident about two years ago. He fell of a building in France then, also while working. His legs were broken in several places, his back was also injured etc. He was this close to being paralyzed. Doctors feared he would probably never walk normal again, but he did. He recovered very well. And now this? What.The.Fuck?!!! They (that family) cannot get a break! They have one accident/tragedy after another. I'll spare you the details, but let's just say they've had their share of bad luck x 20000.
Elections were on Sunday.
