I wandered around a little on DVD websites + amazon this afternoon. Making a wishlist for Christmas or other holidays. No, that's not greedy and it's never too early. For years I didn't know what to say when people asked me what I wanted and I don't want to do that anymore. Because then I get money and I don't spend it and it feels like I just had nothing. And it's considerate if you like to look at the prices in stores yourself before proposing where people can buy it and make sure they don't pay too much. See?
Anyway, way too many DVDs on wishlist + some CDs and books.
I finally got to watch the Dead Like Me Pilot!! Hmm, definitly want to watch more! The DVD is coming out in September or October (websites are contradicting eachother) and I was curious because I had heard so much good stuff about the show, but I didn't want to buy the DVD without having seen anything already. Think box set is already out in the UK and it has Dutch subtitles (I'm a sucker, I still like to have subtitles ... just in case). Too bad I'm not going there anytime soon.
Ah yes, I need help! Can someone explain to me what exactly ... Wait, look at
this page. Next to the cover picture, it says Neuf et d'occasion à partir de EUR 45,00. What are those users/whatever listed when you click that? If you buy something from them, do you buy it through amazon? Or is it something else? Heh, I'm not used to online shopping ...
(PS not buying DLM through amazon, it's just an example. It costs too much for gift certificate and the French DVD people only think of themselves and only have subtiles/dubbing in French. sigh)
