Sunday, September 10, I will be participating in the 26th annual MSPCA Walk For Animals. I do not choose to support organizations lightly. But I have volunteered for the MSPCA in the past, and more recently, I adopted one of my most memorable rats from the Nevins Farm shelter in Methuen.
I chose to walk this year in honor of Kira. And every other animal that has found a loving home through the MSPCA. Kira may not physically be with me any longer, but I know she would be happy that I am helping the shelter that brought us together.
If you would like to show support for the MSPCA, you can visit my
donation page to make a secure donation directly to the MSPCA.
The MSPCA relies entirely on donations. If you cannot donate for the walk, I understand and appreciate you taking the time to read this. And remember, the MSPCA can always use things like old blankets, towels, etc. And most of all, loving homes for animals. So next time you are thinking of a new pet, check the shelter nearest you!
