It's an absolute miracle that everyone escaped alive and mostly uninjured from this Hell early morning Wednesday in Everett, which is about 30 miles north and east of me. Two homes and twenty-one cars were totally destroyed, two houses were damaged, and some cats and dogs are missing. No people were killed, and the community has all been banding together to get through it.

I had to stop what I was working on merely to try coping with the extent and the horror of it all. *I* felt scared and traumatized, sitting here reading about it; I can only imagine that it was orders of magnitude worse for those who actually went through it. I'm going to see about getting a donation off to these folks. :/
