oh my, this event called "halloween" is quickly approaching. i am not sure how the students and faculty here celebrate such an occasion.
i have heard other students discussing "costumes." what is a costume? is it much like the uniform i wear to follow the school's dress code?
and some have also discussed dressing up in "matching" costumes. what do they mean by that? do they wear the same costume? if costumes are school uniforms, wouldn't that be what we do every day?
i am confused. i would appreciate enlightenment from some kind individuals. i am learning the cultures and traditions of this world, but i hope my friends can be patient while i adjust and try to understand it all. i admit i never underwent anything of the sort while guarding my post in the seafoam islands.
