In my never ending quest to rid myself of this damn fear of being bitten by a snake I've checked out books from my local library. Or I haven't actually "checked" them out. They're being transfered to and then held at my local library. I love the new online features they've added to libraries. Makes it much more convient and simple. I only

And comment hiatus my ass. I was waiting until I got home from work today to comment you, I fuckin swear.
As for snakes -- well, snake proofing the house might still be a possible solution, providing you call an exterminator in hopes that they might be able to drive any and all snakes out. Also, an exterminator may be able to help you with tips on just how to go about protecting yourself from further snake threats. *shrug* Just an idea of what to do in the meantime to at least temporarily ease your mind, even if it does mean spending some hard-earned moolah to hire the guy / girl. (Girls can be exterminators, too, raaaawr.)
